TV

TV has changed a lot the ast few years. Gone are the idea of going out to your favorite hardware store and buying an antenna and get TV signals. Cable televison has replaced that and people now have options like Direct TV. Direct TV is a paid network where you can purchase as many stations as you want. They have sports packages and movie packages for a certain amount of money. TV has changed as far as the models you can buy to put in your living room. It use to be your TV would be huge and very heavy, but that has changed to. TV is now lighter and not as bulky and the biggest thing is flat screen TV.

People sometimes don’t like change but TV change has really been for the better. TV entertainment has improved a lot too as your given a lot more channels to watch so you do have a wider variety to choose from. Probably the biggest change to TV was Cable. Cable TV has changed the way we watch TV and it keeps changing it. More channels are added to cable systems every month it seems but the bills for cable TV keeps going up to.

Internet TV is on the fence waiting for a chance to jump in. That should be very interesting for a number of reasons. When something comes to, the internet profit is usually the first thing they think about and I’m sure televison is no different. People will try and use televison online as a profit making machine. The networks would like to control what is shown on televison and I think they are afraid of what will happen if television is allowed to be shown on the internet. Will they be able to control it? Or will they have to share content? It will be very interesting to see how it all plays out.

TV will always be with us and it will constantly be changing and improving as the years go buy. Where it is headed is anyone’s guess and in time we will see where it is headed. I think the biggest thing will be how all these new cable networks that keep popping up are going to survive. You can only watch so many stations per night and having to pay for every channel could be in the not to distant future.
