Jokes have been around since forever it seems. How many times can you remember a certain joke because somehow it touched you? Jokes seem to be having a revival as more and more people are telling them and comedy is making a comeback. There are many web sites that are dedicated to just telling jokes. Good or bad we have all laughed at jokes and will continue to as they make us happy for the most part and takes us to a happier time even if were sad at the time.

Many web sites have a joke of the day which is usually a very good joke. Now some of the best-selling books on the market are joke pokes. It use to be joke books were made up of just jokes, but now there are all kinds of joke books. Polish jokes, dirty jokes are just some of the books that dot the landscape upon the bestseller lists at bookstores. Jokes have also been associated with helping people feel better and get over things. Sometimes people get upset and jokes break the ice with whatever their problems are. People are always creating jokes as standup comics are the biggest buyers of these.

Stands up comics are probably the biggest buyers of jokes as they sometimes run out of material. Kids love jokes just like adults do and sometimes their jokes are a lot funnier than adults. Kids jokes are always clean and make people laugh very hard. Holidays are another time where jokes are told. Valentines, Christmas, Halloween are some of the biggest occasions for holiday jokes. What is the future of jokes? It seems that as we approach political seasons you will hear more and more jokes. Jokes seem to be becoming more cutthroat and quick to hurt different people or different groups. That’s probably the bad side of joke telling. The good side is you do see more jokes every year. I think there is a never-ending stream of jokes that come out every year.

The future of jokes looks very good as more and more people are writing them and getting paid for it. As comedy movies become more popular jokes will be needed even more. I’m for one is glad jokes are being told more often than they have ever before and people are enjoying them even more.
